Edgebrook Covenant Church - Edgebrook Covenant Church provides Sunday School classes for all our children — ages toddler through eighth grade, on Sunday after worship in our classrooms.  Kingdom's Kids - for children pre-K through Kindergarten is held in the Toddler Nursery during worship from 10 AM - 11 AM and also from 11:20 AM - Noon.  Grades 1-6 meet in Fellowship Hall from 11:20 AM - Noon. Our Confirmation Class for grades 7 and 8 will meet in the front room on the second floor in the Annex from 11 AM until noon.  Our high school students - grades 9-12 - will meet in the back room on the second floor of the Annex from 11:20 AM - noon.  Classes are held on the first, second, and third Sundays of the month - with some exceptions.  Check our worship bulletin for updates!  

Youth Activities
Edgebrook Covenant Church has a wide range of activities for youth in grades 7-12.  As adolescents transition from childhood to adulthood they become open to many new experiences and possibilities.  This is an exciting and suspenseful time in life, but it can also be a discouraging and frustrating time as students seek to find and define and redefine themselves in a marvelous, yet sometimes volatile, world.  The following  activities seek to fill the spiritual and relational needs that today’s youth have.  If you have any questions, please call the church at 773-763-4230.

Sunday Night Youth Group
This is a weekly event usually held from 6:00-8:00 PM at the church.  A typical night includes relationship-building activities with one another and with the triune God.  These activities often include high energy games, crazy stunts, wacked-out mixers, worship songs, times for praise and prayer, small group interaction, intriguing topical lessons, and motivating discussions.  Once a month there is a special event, and on occasion the times and place for the meeting may change.

Other Activities
In addition to regularly posted meetings, there are a variety of other activities throughout the year.  There are occasional excursions to fun spots, retreats, and other get-away experiences that encourage students to grow in relationship with one another, with God, and with broader world around them.  These include occasional service opportunities.  Small groups also meet from time to time in order to connect relationally on a smaller level and encourage one another on their life’s journey together with God.  Those who are middle school age are invited to participate in the confirmation program led by Pastor Greg.  

Vacation Bible School
Every summer Edgebrook Covenant Church provides a week of Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children ages four through sixth grade in conjunction with Edgebrook Free Church for a nominal fee.  Usually in mid–August, VBS provides five exciting, fun-filled, inspiring mornings of worship, Biblical instruction, crafts, and games — with a special hot dog picnic lunch on Friday. Camping
Edgebrook Covenant Church strongly believes in the importance of Christian camping experiences for our children, and provides financial assistance so children can attend Bible camp in the summer.  We have access to two superb camping facilities — Covenant Harbor, in Lake Geneva, WI, and Covenant Point, in Iron River, MI — which are run and maintained by our regional camping foundation.  Exciting programs are available all summer for children from third grade through high school.  For more information, contact Mary Doucette at 773-775-7636.

CHIC — Covenant High in Christ
CHIC is a triennial Christian conference for high school students, sponsored by The Evangelical Covenant Church.  For a week, our youth interact with teens from other Covenant churches around the country — and around the world, attending workshops, worship services, concerts, dramas, and participating in a wide variety of sports and activities.  All are designed to help teens incorporate God into their daily life, and strengthen their daily walk in faith.  For more information, please contact Pastor Greg at 773-763-4230.
